Your historic holiday home on the Mosel
All apartments are En- suite with either a bath or shower, fully equipped kitchens / kitchenettes. There is Wi-Fi available throughout the house on request. All our apartments are comfortable and all linen, cleaning and taxes are fully inclusive in the price. We have a terrace and garden with grill area. Please scroll down to view all our pictures. The lounge offers a great place to sample some of the best wines in the world and we pride ourselves in sourcing the best of these from small independent producers in the area. Apartment Dornfelder
The Dornfelder apartment is a cosy apartment for two people with a double bed. It is En-suite and also has a well-equipped kitchenette. There are lovely views of the local vineyards and village. This apartment is approximately 26 m2
Apartment Silvaner
The Silvaner apartment offers a double bed and is ideally suited for two Persons. Again it is En-suite and has a fully equipped kitchenette. The views of the Mosel and vineyard are a pleasant backdrop to this apartment. This apartment is approximately 26 m2
Apartment Kerner
The Kerner apartment is in the oldest part of the house and has impressively high ceilings. Recently during restoration we have uncovered some hand painted watercolour wall decorations. These are of the swags and tails design and are French in origin. Dating back to circa 1790-1810 (Timeline from The Victoria & Albert museum in London) they are typical of the period when this part of the Mosel was under French influence. We have managed to preserve some of the detail and it is on show in the single bedroom in Kerner. It has one Double bed in the main living area and an additional single bed in a separate bedroom. This apartment offers great family accommodation.

Apartment Riesling
The Riesling apartment is our largest residence and fills the entire top floor encompassing the loft area. It has a full kitchen and a large bathroom. It is ideal for larger groups or families. The main living and sleeping area is loft living with open plan. There is a double bed in a cosy area which nestles amongst the old oak beams on the gallery level which looks down on the main living area which includes a further two single beds, and a sofabed which can be made in to a double bed.
There are some stunning views of the Mosel and the vineyards in the valley.
The apartment is approximately 61 m2
The Garden and Terrace
You are free to use the terrace or garden. The garden has a charming covered grilling area. We supply free charcoal along with accessories for grilling, a great way to spend a summers evening. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome.
Please note that this house is very old and some of the stairs are steep in particular children and the elderly should take care. If you require additional assistance with baggage etc we will be happy to help.
