The perfect way to round off your day, relax in our guest only celler and sample some of the finest wines that the Mosel region has to offer. We pride ourselves in choosing only the best with each one carefully selected to join our portfolio. Our wines are available by the bottle and we have an open selection by the glass. For the more adventurous you can sample a selected range with an organised wine tasting. Also available is a selection of the best quality beers and a selection of Malt Whiskeys, Cognacs and liqueurs. Along side our seasonal specialities we have a varied choice of teas and coffees. For our younger guests we have a good choice of non-alcoholic favourites.
If you are planning a group or family gathering why not book at Zur Alten Weinkelter and use the lounge for all your entertainment requirements. We can help your holiday or special occasion become memorable.
Once you have sampled all the local wines you can buy them directly from us. We are the one stop location to buy the best wines from the local vintners. In 2011 we will be delivering directly to London, so if you live in or near London you can take advantage of a regular supply direct from the vineyards.
All our wines are specially selected and each wine is made from single batches of grapes from a specific location or Weinberg. We select wines with the very minimum or no added sulphites. The purest best quality wine with the best pedigree and known vintners are what we base our reputation on. Our selection is continuously being updated and changed. Many of our wines are sourced from small independent vintners and are produced in small batches.
